Sizing

White's sizing is similar to other made in the USA boot brands. We recommend 0.5 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device.

If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 0.5 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, the same size as your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, or the same size as your Alden Barrie last size.

About the FREENOTE CLOTH X WHITE'S BOOTS - 9338 LAST CRUISER BOOT - C.F. STEAD CRAZY COW 2

This is a follow up to our crazy popular White's collaboration in C.F. Stead's Crazy Cow tannage. While pouring over White's extensive historical archive of footwear, we stumbled upon something we hadn't seen before, a lineman patch that is an extension of the upper leather covering the ball of the foot of the vamp. A subtle yet striking detail. Like many workwear details, we gravitated to this functional detail for its unique visual impact. White's had a just enough Crazy Cow leather leftover from our first run to do a sequel. Whether the sequel is better than the original is something we will leave to the boot loving public.

Most of the details have carried over from our first Crazy Cow boot. Aside from the new (old) lineman patch style, we also went with a Vibram crepe sole and a 9338 "Swing" Last. These details lean into the workwear inspired look of this boot, and create an incredibly comfortable pair. The Munson inspired 9338 last allows for plenty of toe splay, and the cushioned ride of the Vibram crepe sole create a boot that's ready for all day comfort.

American workwear has always been one of the biggest inspirations here at Freenote. Naturally, when an opportunity to work with one of the all-time great Made in the USA brands presented itself, we didn't hesitate. White's Boots has been around since 1853 (not a typo, they have been cranking out boots since the mid eighteen-hundreds). Built to the highest standards, White's is a household name with loggers and wildland firefighters in the Pacific Northwest. Their boots are designed with durability and all-day comfort as the top priorities.
